Audio Techs set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment, ensuring high-quality audio for performances and events. They provide clear and reliable audio, enhancing the experience for performers and attendees. Shifts are generally 4 hours long and scheduled to cover multiple performance times over the four days. Audio Techs work closely with Video Techs, Audio Mixers, and Stage Hands.

Video Techs handle the setup, operation, and maintenance of performance video equipment, including projectors, screens, and lights. They ensure high-quality visual presentations, supporting performances, and workshops that bring clarity and flair. Shifts are typically aligned with specific workshops and performance hours, including long crew prep. Video Techs coordinate with Audio Techs, Workshop A/V, and the Media Team.

Audio mixers manage the live mixing of audio during performances to ensure balanced and clear sound and enhance the experience for everyone. Shifts are typically 8 hours and primarily occur during performances. Audio mixers collaborate closely with performers, audio techs and stagehands.

The Workshop A/V team sets up and manages audio-visual equipment for workshops and presentations. They ensure that workshop presenters have the necessary technical support for effective presentations, contributing to the educational aspect of the festival. Shifts are typically 8 hours, aligned with workshop schedules. Workshop A/V works closely with Video Techs and Space Keepers.

Capture
The Media Team captures and produces content from the festival, including photos, videos, and live streams. They document the festival, creating promotional material and preserving memories for attendees and organizers. Shifts are typically 8 hours, with coverage throughout the festival to capture various moments in time. The Media Team works closely with video technicians and the marketing team.

The Content Editor Team reviews, selects, and edits the footage and photographs captured during the festival, creating polished content for various platforms.

The application process will ask you to name the top three dream teams you would love to be considered for in 2024. We hope you find a team you will be excited about joining, but also be open to serving the community in any way that is needed.
All crew experiences teach us about ourselves, relationships and our larger community ….and that is the intention of the project.
