Earthkeepers are the stewards of the lands, managers of the site, and negotiators of the elements.
They are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and environmental health of the festival grounds, including garbage management, recycling, and composting efforts. They prioritize sustainability and environmental consciousness, ensuring the festival leaves a minimal ecological footprint and provides a clean, enjoyable space for everyone.

The Fire Keepers are responsible for maintaining and tending to the community and sacred fires, ensuring they continue to burn safely throughout the event. They play a crucial role in upholding the spiritual significance of the fire and act as guardians of the sacred flame. Their presence also symbolizes the continuity of tradition and the preservation of cultural heritage within the festival.

The Water Keepers are responsible for ensuring water sourcing, distribution, and quality for all uses. Their role involves coordinating with internal and external logistical and environmental agencies to guarantee access to high-quality water while minimizing our impact. High-quality water is vital for the hydration, sanitation, cooking and overall well-being of everyone involved in the gathering.

The Power Keepers oversee all aspects of electrical generation, as well as circuitry, to ensure a reliable and safe power supply for all festival activities. They coordinate with technicians and vendors to design and manage power distribution, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize safety at all times. Their role is crucial in maintaining a seamless and efficient power infrastructure throughout the gathering.

The Internal Transport team manages the movement of goods and equipment within the festival grounds, ensuring timely and efficient delivery where needed.

Drivers are responsible for transporting people and materials to and from the festival site, including shuttle services for attendees and supply runs.

The Land Prep team prepares the festival site by clearing trails, setting up camping areas, and handling heavier-duty landscaping tasks. Their job is to create a workable and welcoming natural environment for everyone while ensuring the grounds are cared for and preserved. This labour intensive work is done before the festival at Work Parties and during Long Crew.
