Festival Shifts > 6-10 hours of teamwork over four festival days on one of 65 teams, plus a $300 Food & Logistics Pass (most Soulshiners)
Long Crew > Minimum four work days (30 hours) on-site before and/or after the festival, plus a $160 Food Pass
Team Lead > Elevated responsibility, managing other people and/or taking lead on at least one critical component of the whole thing, plus a $120 Food Pass

Marketing
The Marketing Team is responsible for creating and distributing promotional content, including newsletters, social media posts, and graphic designs, to engage and inform the Soulshine community and beyond!
Communication
The Communication Team manages the website, email correspondence, and core crew liaison needs, ensuring clear and effective communication between all.
Merchandise
The Merchandise Team handles the design, production, and sale of festival merchandise, including t-shirts, mugs, posters, etc.

Human Resources includes the roles of Volunteer Coordinator, Team Lead Manager, and Event Crew Manager. They ensure that the festival is adequately staffed with motivated and well-informed individuals, fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.

The Architecture Team invests in research and development for a variety of community concerns, including social structure, status, land use, legal compliance, and commercial considerations.

Event Coordinators manage the planning and execution of events and activities produced in addition to the festival, including Socials, Sessions and Retreats.

The Finance Team manages the financial aspects of all Soulshine gatherings, including budgeting, tracking expenses, reporting, and employing the Fair Share Model. They ensure financial transparency and sustainability, enabling the festival to operate within its means and where applicable, distributing funds appropriately.

The application process will ask you to name the top three dream teams you would love to be considered for in 2024. We hope you find a team you will be excited about joining, but also be open to serving the community in any way that is needed.
All crew experiences teach us about ourselves, relationships and our larger community ….and that is the intention of the project.
